The project at a glance
The work brought together a review of existing equipment, coordinated internet services and on-site work, followed by secure links between locations. The outcome was better internet speeds, improved network stability and clearer visibility of the network.
The situation
The business needed its locations connected through internet services and secure network links. The work required looking at the proposed setup alongside the equipment already in place.
We started by clarifying what was needed, so the services and the on-site work could be coordinated around the same requirements.
The work
Telco Concepts reviewed the proposed setup and the existing equipment, clarified the requirements and coordinated the internet services and on-site work. We then connected the locations through secure links.
This combined the connection services with the network work needed at the premises.
The outcome
Better internet speeds, improved network stability and clearer visibility of the network.
Customer names, locations, suppliers, commercial arrangements and detailed network configuration are kept private in this example.
Questions to ask about your own locations
Use the example as a starting point for a discussion about your sites. Your available connections, equipment and applications will determine the suitable design.
- What work needs to happen between the locations?
- Which equipment and services are already in place?
- Who coordinates the internet providers and the on-site installation?
- How will the agreed connections, application access and recovery be checked?
